The Fujairah Criminal Court has begun hearing the case of an Asian maid who killed two brothers (three and four years) after they left them in their room and went out.
The maid denied that the court had caused the death of the two brothers, pointing out that she was on the ground floor, while the children were sleeping in their bedroom.
The judiciary decided to postpone the judgment on the maid to consider the details of the incident.
A fire in the Madhab area of Fujairah in June killed two children (three and four years) asphyxiation.
Sources in the Civil Defense said that the two children died after being surrounded by fire that broke out in their parents' house.
The sources pointed out that a report was received to the Civil Defense Department at 10:30 am, stating that a fire broke out in the house of a citizen in the area of Madaba in the Emirate of Fujairah, and therefore the fire and rescue teams moved to the site of the fire. Two children who were inside the house with their grandmother died, while their mother was at work.
