Teams from 10 Arab and foreign countries will participate in the 20th edition of the Ismaili Folklore Festival in the first week of September.

"The new tournament will bring together teams from Venezuela, Russia, Greece, Romania, Lebanon, Maldives, Indonesia, Palestine and Serbia as well as eight teams from Egypt," the festival's management said in a statement.

The statement added that this year's program will be different, as the opening and closing ceremony will be held at the Ismailia Stadium after it was held during the previous years on the Summer Theater of the Ismailia Culture Palace.

The 20th edition of the festival will take place from September 3rd to 7th at Al Ghaba Park, Al Danafah Club, Al Fayrouz Club and Sheikh Zayed Park.

The festival, which is organized annually by the Ministry of Culture in cooperation with Ismailia governorate, is one of the most famous folklore festivals in the Arab region and attracts thousands of followers every year.
