Macron called the international crisis fires in the Amazon

The French leader wrote about this on his Twitter.

“Amazonia - the lung of our planet - which produces 20% of oxygen, burns. This is an international crisis. G7 members, we’ll meet in two days to talk about this emergency, ”he wrote.

Earlier media reported that more than 75 thousand fires occurred in the Brazilian rainforests, which is a record high over the past seven years.
