The text of the appeal to the Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov is at the disposal of RT.

According to the author of the initiative, the preferential tax regime should apply to mothers with many children at their main place of work.

As the deputy noted, the initiative was proposed in connection with the national importance of developing the institution of the family, as well as in order to stabilize the demographic situation and further support motherhood and childhood in Russia.

“At the initial stage, if this initiative is supported, I propose to consider introducing a preferential tax regime for single mothers with many children who are in a difficult life situation and are deprived of payments for the loss of a breadwinner, stable alimony and some other forms of material and property support,” the text of the appeal says.

To begin with, according to the author of the initiative, the preferential tax regime should be introduced as an experiment that will be conducted in pilot regions - Khakassia, Trans-Baikal Territory, Tuva, the Jewish Autonomous Region, the Altai Republic and the Kurgan Region.

In these regions, according to expert estimates, large families face the greatest threat of restricting access to the economic and social spheres, the statement says.

Earlier, Russian leader Vladimir Putin signed a law on mortgage compensation for families in which a third child and subsequent children were born after January 1, 2019.
