A man was arrested in Florida for practicing castration on a volunteer met via a fetishist site specializing in eunuchs, the local police said.
Police in Highlands County, northwest of Miami, said in a statement tinged with dark humor that she would "remember" for a long time on Sunday night.
"It's a bit ... sensitive, we can even say that there is enough to lose the ball," writes the sheriff's office on his Facebook page.
When the police knocked on his door, Gary Van Ryswyk, 74, told them that he had just castrated a man, who was bleeding profusely on a bed, a towel on his lower abdomen.
A pink container contained not far from there "two body parts that had recently been much closer to the victim," says the police in his story very believed.
The emasculated, unidentified man was taken to the hospital. His days are not in danger.
According to the police statement, Gary Van Ryswyk set up the room as an operating theater with medical equipment and pain medication.
He claimed to have met the victim through a fetishist site of eunuchs, and that this was not the first time he had engaged in such an operation.
He was charged on Monday for unlawfully practicing medicine that caused injuries.
