According to Météo-France, the day of Saturday, August 17 will be rainy, especially in the north of France. If certain areas such as Charente departments and the north of Aquitaine will see the situation improve, in the south of France, the weather will be brighter.

After a night and a very rainy morning, the north of Brittany and Normandy until Flanders will gradually recover a dry weather, more luminous in the afternoon. The southwest wind will blow substantially along the Channel coast.

Pays de la Loire and Poitou in the Center, Ile-de-France, the rest of the Hauts de France, northern Burgundy, Champagne-Ardenne and Lorraine, it will rain almost all day, so transiently marked. In Alsace, the morning will be mostly veiled, the weather will turn to rain then.

Between the Charentais departments and the north of Aquitaine, the morning greyness will give way to good sunny moments.

South of France spared

On the other hand, on the beaches of Languedoc-Roussillon up to the Var coastline, the maritime entrances can sometimes maintain a gray atmosphere all day long.

Over the rest of the southern half, the sun will dominate. It will be temporarily veiled on the center-east. Saturday morning, it will be between 13 and 17 degrees in general, 16 to 20 on the Mediterranean.

In the afternoon, the temperatures will be contrasted: it will make 20 to 25 degrees of Brittany, Pays de la Loire and Poitou Benelux. Elsewhere, expect more heat with 26 to 31 degrees, locally 32/33 on the southern half, 34/35 in the Mediterranean hinterland.
