17 August 2019A sudden flash, the sky lit up and a great silence. Late yesterday evening a luminous ball crossed the night time in Sardinia and amazed all the citizens.

Dozens of reports came from all over the region, said the Unione Sarda, which collected the testimonies of the users of Cagliari, Villacidro, Carbonia, Nuoro, Sassari and Dolianova.

The fiery ball would have been nothing more than a meteorite fragment which, according to experts, could have fallen into the sea between Sardinia and the Balearic Islands.
