American cinema has long been a haven for fun-loving cinema-lovers, full of different categories and ideas between drama, comedy, science fiction, animation, suspense and horror, while Bollywood cinema has for decades been accused of providing only melodramatic or lyrical dancer stories.

Strangely, most of the tragic Indian plots used the momentum in the parades, even at the head of death and over the remains of corpses.

From melodrama to creativity
A good follower of Indian films in recent years can see how their filmmakers worked hard and tried to get out of their long jail box, offering ideas that are not only bold and new to them, but that some have crossed the ceiling of the local and succeeded in reaching the global and digging the names of their owners in mind to become followers all over the world .

American cinema has therefore been haunted by Bollywood stars and their films, not only globally but also locally in India itself.

Bollywood is in danger
Though many generations have come to love American cinema, it has mostly been through watching television or the Internet recently and sometimes through cinema screens.

What Bollywood filmmakers did not count on was that American films would invade the Indian market and multiply their impact, while at the same time striving to offer their best, harnessing all the artistic possibilities and production capacities, which threatened the box office more than once.

Modern numbers
Some of the revenue figures made in 2019 can be counted, and let's start with the highest ever, Avengers: Endgame, which has so far earned $ 2.795 billion to become the highest-grossing in the world.

The film was released in 1700 screens in India, and sold one million tickets on the first day only to become the highest-grossing inaugural revenue this year in India and the second in history.

The film grossed Rs 373.22 crore, equivalent to $ 5.237 million on the first day of its release, making it the highest grossing film at India's box office this year, both internationally and locally.

Disney's new live version of "The Lion King," released on July 19, has so far raised 150 crore (US $ 2.1 million) in India, and the increase is expected in the coming days. Among them: "Aladdin" and "Captain Marvel" and others.

Supply timing crisis
It gets worse when Hollywood's powerful and awaited movies coincide with Bollywood movies.

In a quick comparison, Captain Marvel was able to compete fiercely against another powerful Indian film, Luka Chuppi. While the first raised $ 1.2 million in India, the second earned 1.7 million, and even the unsuccessful films in Hollywood can surpass Indian films with limited stars.

It is noteworthy that even high-profile names are not immune to loss. Back in 2016, two films were released in India in March: the fan of Shah Rukh Khan and the Jungle Book. The suffering of $ 1.2 million, while Disney's film grossed more than 2.5 million.

American flavor
There are a number of reasons why the public is scrambling to reserve a seat in the cinema to watch Hollywood movies, on the one hand because of its excellence in some of the categories that are on its throne, such as superheroes movies that have become one of the most popular works at the moment, or horror films and animation and the most important live versions of them.

In addition to the names of brilliant stars who have many followers in Indian society, perhaps the obsession with watching everything new once they are released. Tom Cruise, Dwayne Johnson, nicknamed "The Rock", Keanu Reeves, and the Avengers series champions, prompted Bollywood workers to try to attract some stars from time to time to appear in the news. Indian films to increase their mass and double the next ones.

The "winning card" played by American cinema recently, dubbing American films in Hindi and local dialects, and even came to implement special treatments sometimes for some movie plots to suit the taste of the local audience in India.

For all the above, American films have been able to win the weekly competition most often when the visitor has to decide: which film will choose to pay for his ticket, which means that Indian filmmakers have to recalculate their accounts and think in a new way that provides the content that Bollywood audiences prefer, But Hollywood is a surprise step forward if they want to win the battle of revenue and deserve proliferation, not only in their own home but worldwide.
