“Two strategic missile carriers Tu-95MS of long-range aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces completed a planned flight in the airspace over the waters of the Barents and Norwegian Seas,” the Department of Information and Communications of the Defense Ministry said.
The total duration of the flight was four hours.
At the same time, at certain stages of the route, Russian planes accompanied the Norwegian Air Force F-16 fighters.
On August 12, the Tu-95MS conducted a scheduled flight over the waters of the Barents, Norwegian and North Seas.
