NATO fighter tried to approach Shoigu plane over Baltic

The NATO F-18 fighter tried to approach the board of Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu over the neutral waters of the Baltic Sea, RIA Novosti reported.

The plane with Shoigu on board, followed from Kaliningrad to Moscow with an escort of two fighter aircraft of the Baltic Fleet Su-27.

Over neutral waters, Shoigu tried to get close to the F-18, but the Su-27 pilots did not allow him to get close to the airliner, pushing the fighter out.

On August 12, it was reported that two Russian strategic missile carriers Tu-95MS conducted a planned flight over the waters of the Barents, Norwegian and North Seas. At certain stages of the flight route, Russian planes accompanied the Norwegian Air Force F-16 fighters.
