12 August 2019A small boat overturned in the English Channel: three children between the ages of 6 and 11 died. Rescuers made it known. It happened near Agon-Coutainville, according to Le Parisien.

Six people were on board: children aged 7, 9 and 13 were trapped when the boat capsized, while three adults were thrown into the water and were rescued by rescuers, free or slightly injured.

Firefighters have specified that the children have been found in cardiac arrest and it has been impossible to revive them. An investigation was opened by the prosecutor's office of Coutances, in the department of Manche, the local prefecture made known in a note.
