Turkmenistan works on ferry service with Russian regions

This was told by the adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Serdar Durdyev.

He noted that Turkmenistan plans to establish a ferry service with the Astrakhan region and with the regions of the North Caucasus, in particular, with Dagestan.

Previously, a ferry operated between Russia and Turkmenistan on the Makhachkala - Turkmenbashi line.

On August 11, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev arrived in Turkmenistan for a two-day visit.
