Large parts of the fences around the island of Storsandskär where the severe air crash happened on Sunday have been canceled. But the Umeå people still try to understand what has happened.

Eva Johansson lives on the island, a few kilometers from Umeå Airport. For her, the sound of the regular parachute plane is well known. But this day was something different.

During the day of the accident, she was on a boat in the Ume River along with her husband and grandchildren. She saw the plane fall to the ground.

- It sounded like full throttle in the machine. Then everything became quiet. And a hissing. It was awful, ”says Eva Johansson.
