Islam Abdel Hay-Algeria

For six months, the popular movement in Algeria has not stopped. Dar Lokman has remained politically unchanged since President Bouteflika resigned on April 2.

With the exception of the open anti-corruption campaign against the former regime's politicians and financiers, there is nothing progress on possible solutions to resume electoral legitimacy.

The Algerian arena is witnessing the launching of dozens of political initiatives that carry ideas and proposals, presented by party and civic blocs and public figures.

One of the most important of these youth initiatives is 101 Ideas.

101 ideas
The "101 Ideas for Algeria" initiative was launched by a group of young people, through a digital platform to enable Algerians at home and abroad to put forward their ideas to help bring the country out of its crisis.

In an exclusive interview with Al Jazeera Net, the initiative owner Amin Topok says that the idea of the initiative is old and was born in January 2018, but it did not materialize, and remained on the sidelines even after the popular movement on 22 February.

As for the initiative's name, "101 Ideas for Algeria," Amin attributed it to the day he decided with the initiative's members to start the project. It was the day of 101 popular movements, where they created a digital platform available to all to put forward their ideas for the advancement of Algeria.

Entrepreneurs intend to gather ideas in a 500-page book (Al Jazeera)

The entrepreneurs intend to gather ideas in a 500-page book and present them to the future elected president of the republic in order to contribute to building a "just, prosperous and self-reconciling" society.

Amin (a young Algerian resident in France who works in the field of design for Microsoft products) says the initiative has 16 members, and is open to everyone to join.

He added that the group is legally and morally affiliated with the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in France, a non-political organization that does not belong to any ideological current and is not profit-oriented.

Initiative of ideas, not opinions
The initiators have set up a reading committee for proposals published through this portal to study and gather all ideas without exclusion in order to provide solutions to the crisis.

The group said on its website that the Algerian people want to build a new Algeria based on the hope of equality, respect for pluralism, diversity and freedom of political, trade union and media fields.

Amin reveals that the initiative received more than a hundred ideas within a week of its launch, while some participants sent slogans of mobility, such as "Irohu Qa '" ie leave all, and these posts are not taken into account by the reading committee because "the purpose of the initiative is not to collect Opinions, but to gather meaningful solutions to bring Algeria to safety. "

Amin attributed the interaction of youth with the initiative through social media platforms to their responsiveness to the requirements of the times, and the opportunity for young people to express their ideas and propose solutions.
