Ajman Police Deputy General Commander, Brigadier Abdullah Ahmed Alhamrani said that the police referred the case of the drowning of the young man in the swimming pool of a gym in Ajman, to the Public Prosecution after the completion of the investigation procedures and was charged with negligence for his concern about monitoring the pool.

The Deputy Chief of Ajman Police revealed that the incident occurred during the evening during the coach's busy busy basin where the young man who is not able to swim, where others noticed his fall in the water after a time and they took him out and try to help him, but he died.

He stressed the importance of having professional lifeguards in the gyms to monitor young people who learn to swim to prevent any harm.

He appealed to all the owners of the gyms operating in Ajman the need to provide safety requirements in swimming pools, and provide lifeguards to work in these halls throughout the period of work and stress not to be busy, stressing that the increase in the number of swimming pools attached to the gyms obliges owners to provide adequate numbers of rescuers, especially during the summer , Where many want to go swimming.
