The UAE has continued its efforts to support the educational sector in Yemen during the first half of this year, rehabilitating 13 schools in five governorates, benefiting about 10,000 students.

The UAE and Saudi Arabia have provided $ 70 million to teachers whose salaries have been suspended in collaboration with UNICEF, as well as several projects related to the development and strengthening of the education sector in the various liberated governorates of Yemen.

Since 2015, the UAE has built and rehabilitated more than 320 schools and provided education to more than 2 million students, either directly or through UN organizations represented by UNICEF.
