“Russia is ready for substantive and professional conversation on all aspects of the ongoing international investigation, a different approach is unlikely to be of practical value,” says Zakharova on the MFA website.

She noted that “the investigation, by the way, as far as we understand, has not yet been completed, and our many questions to it still remain unanswered.”

Zakharova also refuted the statement by Dutch Foreign Minister Stef Blok that the forthcoming tripartite consultations in Vienna on the death of the Malaysian Boeing will deal exclusively with the legal consequences of the responsibility for the catastrophe imposed on Russia.

“The focus of their attention will not be“ recognition of Russia's legal responsibility for the catastrophe, ”but the entire range of issues related to this incident and of fundamental importance for establishing the true causes,” the statement said.

In January, Zakharova commented on the situation with the investigation of the collapse of the Malaysian Boeing in Ukraine in the summer of 2014.
