Al-Jazeera broadcast on Sunday, a new episode of the program "Ma Khafi Akam" investigative by Tamer Al-Mushal.
The group is hosting an exclusive meeting of the leader of French mercenary groups, Paul Barrell, who unveils a military invasion plan for Qatar, which led a large group of mercenaries with direct support from the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain after the failure of the coup attempt in February 1996.
This is the first time Barrell has spoken about this secret plan.
The episode titled "Barrel .. Mask Revealed" comes to you on Sunday evening, at 10 pm Doha time.
A previous episode of the program "Ma Khafi Akadem" revealed in detail and evidence the involvement of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt and Bahrain in support of a failed attempt to overthrow the regime in Qatar in 1996.
The investigation published testimony of leaders in the coup attempt revealing the secret roles of these countries, as well as documents belonging to Saudi intelligence and Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz during the attempt of 14 February 1996.
Among the testimonies presented by the investigation were testimonies of leaders who participated in the attempted coup, and another of the US ambassador to Qatar during that period, for the first time he spoke about the incident. The investigation also presented exclusive documents for the first time.
