President Moon Jae-in will leave today (13th) to attend the ASEAN-Singapore Summit in Singapore and APEC Summit in Papua New Guinea. SEOUL, South Korea - South Korean President Roh Moo-jin will depart for a five-day, six-day visit today to attend the ASEAN-Korea Economic Partnership and the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit.

My first visit to Singapore will be attended by the ASEAN + ASEAN + ASEAN + Korea-Japan-China Summit and the East Asia Summit by the 16th.

In addition to proposals for next year's ASEAN-Korea summit to accelerate the implementation of the new South-South policy, we plan to hold a summit meeting between the Mekong basin countries Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam and Thailand.

On the 17th and 18th we will move to Papua New Guinea and attend the APEC Summit.

We will introduce the government's innovative vision of embracing the nation and plan to propose the creation of the APEC Digital Innovation Fund to enhance digital economic capacity.

We also have bilateral talks in the international community to build a foundation for supporting the Korean peninsular peace regime.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Morrison are scheduled for a summit.

During the ASEAN summit, he will meet with US Vice President Fence, and during the APEC summit, he will coordinate bilateral talks with Chinese President Jing Jinping.

President Moon is expected to ask the heads of states to actively support the second round of bilateral negotiations to achieve results through the multilateral and bilateral talks.
