While Jean-Michel Blanquer, Minister of Education and Christophe Castaner, Minister of the Interior is on a plan against violence in schools, Marine Le Pen, President of the National Assembly (RN, exFN) proposes 10 measures against this that she calls "ensauvagement in school".

The President of the National Gathering (RN, formerly FN) presented this Thursday ten measures to "act against the ensauvagement school" , in full controversy on violence in school. During a press conference in the National Assembly, Marine Le Pen ruled that the case of the teacher pointed by a student in Créteil was "violent and somewhat terrifying" .

"For all that, she had merit," she said: "She revealed a truth that the attentive readers of the various facts know but that the world of Education wants to conceal by the lies of state, the guilt of the community educational, the abandonment of teachers, the culture of the excuse " .

More social assistance for parents of repeat offenders

Most of the ten measures presented this Thursday were in the 144 presidential commitments of Marine Le Pen: "zero tolerance" against school incivilities; reinstatement of sentences and elimination of automatic remission of sentence; elimination of the payment of social assistance "to the parents of recurrent juveniles in the event of manifest educational deficiency" ; disarmament plan for the suburbs; "Civil injunction of removal" for dangerous or recidivist offenders.

At a more strictly educational level, the RN wishes to "promote learning from the age of 14" and "refocus teaching on fundamental knowledge" . He also wants to "break with the dogma of schooling at any price beyond 16 years" .

Among the measures absent from the presidential program is the lowering of the penal majority to 16 years. The party also intends "to make it mandatory for the school head, when deciding on acts of a criminally reprehensible nature, to report it systematically to the public prosecutor" .

Common action plan between Blanquer and Castaner

On 17 November, the RN will hold a conference at the Assembly on the theme of "crime against the deer" and will then submit a bill "on the whole of this subject," said Le Pen.

For the member for Pas-de-Calais, "the power is obviously outdated by the events. For a year and four months, the Minister of National Education Jean-Michel Blanquer has done nothing, decided nothing, thought nothing, analyzed nothing .

Blanquer and Interior Minister Christophe Castaner gather a "Strategic Committee on Violence in Schools" on Friday. He promised an "ambitious action plan" which he has already unveiled: more police around schools, staff trained in security issues or an assessment of the "school climate" .
