Russian space agency Roscozmos published a video of the Soyuz rocket crash following its launch last month.

Soyuz was on a mission to move US astronauts Alexey Nick and Russian The Hague to the International Space Station when one of the boosters failed to disengage from the vehicle, which can be seen clearly in the new video (attached).

The missile was 50 kilometers (30 miles) from the surface of the earth when it failed to boost separation, forcing the two pilots to enter the rescue capsule they threw into the ground and arrived safely in 30 minutes, the Associated Press reported.

Russian investigators said on Thursday the problem would soon be resolved and they planned to launch another on Dec. 3.

The agency canceled all launches after the accident, the first Russian launch to fail in 35 years.

Many space missions have been using Russian missiles for their quality to send astronauts and equipment to space stations, which could change after this incident.
