“We proposed to speed up bilateral and strategic cooperation between Venezuela and the Russian Federation for the benefit of our peoples and our sovereignty,” he wrote after a meeting with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov during an international fair in Havana.
El-Aissami also thanked Borisov "for his attention and solidarity."
