“After the attack on Monday at noon on the national power supply system ... at 21:50 (04:50 Moscow time - RT ), another large-scale attack was made on the territory of Guri autotransformers,” according to the ministry’s Twitter page.

Earlier it was reported that power supply was restored almost throughout the Bolivarian Republic after a massive blackout on March 25.

In early March, almost the entire territory of Venezuela was de-energized due to an accident at the largest hydroelectric power station, Guri. Responsibility for these outages was attributed by the authorities to the opposition led by the leader of the country's National Assembly, Juan Guaido.
