Chocolate, confectionery ... For three days, the Chorus lounge welcomes gourmets. And this year again, they will find the traditional contests and parade of chocolate dresses. Theme of this edition: fashion and women.

The chocolate show will open on Friday, November 9, 2018, until Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Chorus Park in Vannes.

The public will find chocolatiers, confectioners, craftsmen, tasting workshops Cedus sugar. "Professional schools will be there to explain the subsidiaries to young people motivated to learn these trades," says Stéphane Henrio, master chocolatier, creator of the show whose theme this year is fashion and women.

The honorary president of the show will be, for this eighth edition, Julien Boutonnet, best worker of France pastry chef 2015. Also as guest of honor, Jonathan Maugel, best worker of France 2018.

Traditional competitions

The public will find the traditional La Cabosse d'Or contests for professionals and juniors (chocolate piece); Trophy dessert on plate on Friday; the contest of the wonderful chocolate pastries, professionals and juniors; La Cabosse des gastronomes amateurs, a competition where, in three hours, you will have to create a mousse and a chocolate pie, or the contest of the best chocolate-based log.

A competition of bakers

Note that on Saturday and Sunday, a contest will be reserved for bakers with the Stars of bread. It will be, for this novelty 2018, to make live pastries, breads, and artistic pieces. All in nine hours. Also on Sunday, the Trophée Stéphane Glacier, with live editing of a piece of sugar.

Salon chocolate and greed, Friday 9, Saturday 10 and Sunday, November 11, 2018, from 10 am to 19 pm at Chorus in Vannes. Every day, parade with chocolate dresses at 11:30, 15:00 and 18:00. Prices: entrance € 5, € 4 on the online ticket office on the Chorus website. Free for children under 12 years old.
