Two Tu-22M3 made a scheduled flight over the Black Sea
Two Tu-22M3 bombers conducted patrols over the neutral waters of the Black Sea. This is stated in the statement of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, received at the disposal of RT.
“The Tu-22M3 carried out a planned flight in the airspace above the neutral waters of the Black Sea,” the message says.
As noted, the aircraft flew 4.5 thousand kilometers and spent more than five hours in the air.
The department reminded that long-range aircraft regularly fly over the neutral waters of the Arctic, North Atlantic, Black and Caspian Seas, and the Pacific Ocean.
In the fall of 2018, Tu-22MZ bombers, as part of an exercise in Kyrgyzstan, launched an air strike against a conventional enemy camp.
