Friday, the weather will be slightly disturbed on a large northern half of the country with a few light snow in the northeast, according to Météo-France forecasts. On a northern half of the country, the weather will be very cloudy to cover with a few drops on the regions along the Channel and some foggy sometimes frosting between Limousin, the Center and the Val de Saône. Snowfall will be reported on the north-east quarter sometimes leaving a few inches on the ground. After the flakes, the precipitation will turn to rain before a risk of freezing the next night. In the evening, the low snow will appear at very low altitude north of the Massif Central and the Alps.

Southeast under the sun. From the south-west to the northern Alps, after the morning gloom and sometimes some fog, some clearings break before the arrival of the clouds, carrying a few drops in the afternoon and a little snow at low altitude on the central Pyrenees on the south-east of the Massif Central or on the pre-Alps. The sun will remain generous in the South-East and a large southern part of the Alps, with a Mistral and a Tramontane still quite strong near the coast and in the lower Rhone Valley.

A negative mercury in the Center. In the morning, frosts will be almost universal outside the north-west of the country, often close to 0 to -3 degrees or locally -5 to -7 in the Massif Central or the Center-East. In the afternoon, it will be -1 to 6 degrees from the north-east and Rhone-Alpes to the southwest, 3 to 10 degrees elsewhere, to 11 to 13 degrees near the Mediterranean.
