“Even if Russia provides some methodological support for Lugansk and Donetsk, there is nothing reprehensible in this. We help our brotherly people, for example, in the humanitarian sphere. But about the fact that Russia participated in the organization of elections, I do not know such facts, ”the deputy said.

Morozov also noted that the European partners will not heed the calls of Kiev.

“In the DPR and LPR, statehood is emerging. The political process is part of the Minsk agreements. There are no reasonable grounds for imposing sanctions against our country, especially since the sectional policy has already shown its incapacity and inefficiency. The European Union will heed this call, because there is no logic in it, ”he concluded.

Earlier in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine called on the European Union to impose sanctions against Russia for allegedly organizing elections in the DPR and LPR.
