"On November 19, a fire broke out in a room for the study of irradiated nuclear fuel from the chemical analytical laboratory of the Center for Nuclear Energy Research," the statement says.
It is noted that the fire occurred at the storage site used during the experiments of clothing and other solid waste.
In connection with the incident, measurements were made of the level of radiation and emissions to the environment in the area of the incident. No radiation leaks were detected.
The causes of the fire are being investigated.
