According to the data collected, the migration flow has fallen the most from Ukraine and from Uzbekistan, which are “migration donors of Russia”. At the same time, even a small increase in the number of migrants is observed by Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The study indicates that, against this background, the number of foreigners returning from Russia back to their homeland is also growing.

Earlier, the head of Yakutia, Aisen Nikolayev, signed a decree banning foreigners to work in 33 areas of the economy in 2019.
