The operator of the French highway told about the losses from the protests of "yellow vests"

As noted on the company's website, the road infrastructure of France suffered heavy losses in connection with the demonstrations.

"Vinci Autoroutes expresses its indignation in the face of violence and acts of vandalism ... About 250 points suffer daily from the actions of protesters," the press release states

According to the operator, in the course of the protests, arson and theft of the company's equipment were recorded.

It is clarified that the equipment and infrastructure suffered "significant damage", which "is already estimated at several tens of millions of euros."

Earlier it was reported that police detained more than 350 people at the regular protest of "yellow vests" in France.

Protests of the movement of "yellow vests", speaking, in particular, against the increase in gasoline prices, have been in the country since November 17. One of the demands of the protesters is the introduction of a civil initiative referendum procedure.
