The International Court of Justice of the United Nations has accepted Iran's complaint about unilateral sanctions of the United States

"The Islamic Republic of Iran yesterday (July 16 - RT ) initiated a lawsuit against the United States of America in the International Court of Justice," the report said.

As noted, according to the Iranian side, the United States has violated and continues to violate the provisions of the bilateral Agreement on Friendship, Economic Relations and Consular Rights by introducing May 8 unilateral sanctions.

Earlier it became known that Iran filed a complaint with the International Court of Justice because of the sanctions that Washington imposed unilaterally against the country.

In early June, US President Donald Trump noted that Iran will be forced to change its policy in connection with US sanctions.
