“I think that the distinguished chairman should just poke his nose into the Kerch incident and attempts to impose sanctions on Russia as a result. There, Ukraine’s behavior was frankly provocative. And he needs to be reminded that Russia is an equal member of the Council of Europe and in this case it is extremely inappropriate to try to smear its representatives with black paint. Efforts to restore “justice” to the chairman should be sent to Ukraine, ”the expert believes.

According to him, the OSCE perfectly understands the “provocativeness of Ukrainian politics, but some representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly are working out the agenda.”

“But they do it very strangely, especially given the fact that it goes against the interests of the OSCE itself. And this should be the reason for a careful disciplinary review of their activity in this direction. Maybe they make this kind of statement out of selfish motives. Here a Russian saying about a straw and a log in the eye comes to mind, ”concluded Mukhin.
