“The problems that exist in the current Ukrainian economy are a consequence of the policies pursued by Poroshenko. In fact, he signs that he is not able to solve economic and social problems, including gas, which is one of the key problems, ”Shapovalov explained.

In his opinion, such a response Poroshenko is associated with his fears that Ukrainian citizens may support the strategy of behavior Boyko and Medvedchuk.

“Such a harshly negative reaction towards Ukrainian politicians who propose a different variant of Ukraine’s behavior strategy indicates that Poroshenko understands that this policy can be perceived positively by the Ukrainian society,” the expert added.

He noted that Ukrainians are “tired of the economic, political and social crisis” in the country.

"That anti-Russian policy, which is carried out by the Ukrainian government, is already causing rejection of the Ukrainian people," Shapovalov concluded.

Earlier, Poroshenko accused Boiko and Medvedchuk of wanting to plant Ukraine "on a gas igloo."

On March 22, in the Russian capital, Medvedev met with Boyko and Medvedchuk.

During the event, the Prime Minister noted that the bleak economic situation in Ukraine is a consequence of the policy pursued by the Kiev authorities.
