The Israeli Foreign Ministry is closely following the mission, which began its activities last Friday in the parade of the teams at the opening ceremony, through publications and continued broadcasts on the official page "Israel in Arabic" social networking sites Facebook and Twitter.

The ministry also mourned the members of the large Israeli delegation of medals and advanced positions in the world championship.

The judo team participated in an international tournament organized by Abu Dhabi last October. The Minister of Culture and Sports of the Israeli government, Miri Regev, was invited to the event, The organizing committee, which cried when the flag of her country rose in the tournament, confirmed it was a historic moment.

The Israeli sports incursion extended to Morocco, where Marrakesh hosted an international judo tournament with the participation of 10 Israeli wrestlers earlier this month.

The Moroccan Observatory against Normalization said that the Marrakech tournament is not the first sports competition to be attended by Israelis. A judo tournament was held in Agadir last year in which the Israeli anthem was played, which caused great public anger among Moroccans, according to the observatory.
