Mullah Simea al-Haq, described as the spiritual leader of the Taliban movement, was killed in his home on the outskirts of the Pakistani capital Islamabad on Friday.

There were different accounts of the circumstances surrounding the assassination of the right-person between the knife and the shooting. Maliki is the right of the Islamic political leaders in Pakistan, and the head of the Haqqani school, where most of the Taliban leaders graduated.

Pakistani media quoted Hamed al-Haq, the son of Mullah Samea al-Haq, as saying that his father tried today to join a protest in Islamabad, but returned home due to the closure of roads.

The media reports said that Sama was left alone in his home when his bodyguard and his driver went out to accomplish some of the work abroad, and in the meantime entered an unknown attacker and stabbed him several, and then fled. He heard the sound of his last breath as he was being taken to hospital.

Reuters quoted Mohammed Bilal, nephew of Samia al-Haq, as saying his uncle was found dead, stabbed and shot in his home. "When the attackers entered his house, they began to stab him with knives and daggers and then shot him and killed him," he said.

The Pakistani Interior Ministry confirmed in a statement issued on Monday evening the death of Mullah Samea Al Haq, and expressed condolences.

He was born in 1936. He was a member of the Pakistani Senate from 1985 to 1996 and chairman of the Defense Council of Pakistan, a gathering of Islamic political parties.

He is described as the teacher and educator of Taliban leaders in Pakistan and Afghanistan, and one of his most prominent students is Mullah Mohammad Omar, who founded the Taliban in Afghanistan.
