Syria's permanent representative to the UN: as a result of a coalition strike on Hadjin, civilians were killed

According to him, the US-led coalition once again “committed a crime” against civilians in Syria.

“On October 13 and 14, 2018, military coalition planes attacked residential areas of the city of Hajin in the province of Deir ez-Zor, using phosphorus ammunition prohibited by the international community,” he said.

Earlier, the SANA agency reported that the aviation of the international coalition led by the United States inflicted airstrikes using banned white phosphorus in the city of Hadjin.

Subsequently, Syria sent to the UN, including the Security Council, letters demanding to investigate the incident in the province of Deir ez-Zor.
