Egyptian singer Sherine Abdel Wahab entered a hysterical cry during a telephone conversation with Egyptian media journalist Amr Adib on Tuesday evening in the program "The Story" and asked for Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi. She apologized after the music syndicate stopped her work inside the country because of a report accusing her of publishing False News.
Sherine said she was not allowed to sing because she was accused of insulting the Egyptian state at her last concert in Bahrain. She confirmed to the public that she would not kidnap them, because if she did, they would take the case against her in her country.
"I am oppressed," Sheren swore. She appealed to President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi that there was a conspiracy against her.
Sheren entered a bout of crying, because of the question of patriotism, asserting that her husband almost lost his life because of his sense of being in danger, explaining that she feels that she was wrong.
"I am sorry that I speak with people. I am supposed to respect myself, respect my name and respect my being," Sheren said. She confirmed that she made a mistake and went to apologize to the Egyptians.
She requested this contact in order to clarify the matter, not in defense of herself. Noting that she was not subjected to any harassment from the state at all and present in her home.
She pointed out that she constantly feels that there are those who seek to corrupt her image in front of the public, even though she is the daughter of Egypt. Stressing that it will not allow exploitation of the abuse of her country.
Sheren criticized the musicians' union for banning her singing without trying to redress her. Noting that she is Sherine Abdel Wahab, who represents her country in the Arab countries.
She pointed out that the union did not ask her what happened, which is repeated in more than one position. She said her daughters had asked her «if she was imprisoned because of her accusation of insulting Egypt»! I regret that they do not like Egypt because of what they hear from fabricated news about it!
She confirmed that she is being exploited, noting that she refused to travel to Lebanon on a telephone call came to her. Explaining that she did not leave her country in the most difficult times, and can not leave him at the moment because of exploitation.
