In particular, the criminal case against Zaur Mardanov, Vladimir Gusakov, who are accused of abduction of the artist, has been completed.

As the department notes, Telman Ismailov, the former owner of Cherkizovsky market, in January 2004 “under the pretense of pretense ensured the arrival of the singer in the Prague restaurant in Moscow, where he subjected Rousseau to beating and began to hold him.

“Then Ismailov demanded that Abraham Russo cancel all his concerts and enter into contractual relations with him for conducting pop-art activities on his terms,” the UK said.

After that, the defendants forcibly placed the victim in a car and took Ismailov to the house, where they held him for a day, until Russo agreed to fulfill the requirements.

The case was sent to the Prosecutor General’s Office for the confirmation of the indictment.

“With regard to the remaining accomplices of the above crime, the criminal case has been allocated in a separate proceeding, which is currently under investigation, as well as the international search of the accused Telman Ismailov and other persons,” the agency added.

In December 2017, the UK charged in absentia with the double murder of Telman Ismailov.
