As noted, the searches are carried out in the framework of the criminal proceedings initiated under Part 2 of Art. 161 - “Violation of equality of citizens depending on their race, nationality, religious beliefs, disability and other grounds.”
Earlier, the vicar of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, Metropolitan of Vyshgorod and Chernobyl, Paul said that pressure was being put on him and the brethren by the Ukrainian authorities.
