The Saudi Public Prosecution has demanded the death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi in the Kingdom's consulate in Istanbul for the murder of five of them.
The public prosecutor, Saud, said in a statement that the hearing was held in the Criminal Court in Riyadh City for convicts by the Public Prosecution in the case of Khashoggi's death in the presence of their lawyers. He added that «the Public Prosecution continues the procedures of investigation with a number of defendants».
He pointed out that the prosecution sent a memorandum to the Attorney General of the Republic of Turkey, in addition to what was sent last October, in order to request their evidence or evidence relating to this case, which has not received any answer to date, explaining that the Public Prosecution Is still waiting for what is answered by them, according to the statement.
