Russia and Papua New Guinea have signed a number of documents on cooperation in the humanitarian sphere. According to RIA Novosti, the signing ceremony took place on the margins of the APEC summit.
In particular, the Russian National Library and the Archives of Papua New Guinea signed a document on cooperation and collaboration in various fields with the participation of the Miklouho-Maclay Foundation.
A memorandum of cooperation was also signed between the University of Papua New Guinea and the Miklouho-Maclay Foundation on the donation of rights to use the documentaries “Citizen of the World” and “Man from the Moon” for educational purposes.
Earlier it was reported that Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will take part in the summit of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) in Papua New Guinea.
