The Central African Republic has a new government. This reorganization of power follows the Khartoum peace accords signed in Bangui on February 6, providing for the appointment of a new inclusive government. It was revealed this Sunday, March 3 in the morning with the reading on the national radio of the decree on appointment.

It took a week for Firmin Ngrebada, former chief of staff of President Touadéra and appointed Prime Minister on Monday, to have a government. The team unveiled this Sunday morning has 37 ministers. An outgoing hard core is renewed. Economy, Finance, Defense, Justice, Mines, Humanitarian Action, Foreign Affairs, Health ... In total, about twenty ministers are maintained in their functions. The team of President Touadera's relatives set up during the second Sarandji government in 2017 is still holding the bar.

The main change is on the side of the armed groups. They were six in the previous government, they are now a dozen. Six of the 14 signatory groups of the peace agreement are represented. Among the absentees noticed, the 3R Sidiki.

The Popular Front for the Renaissance of the Central African Republic (PRGF) is also included in this new government with two ministers. The Patriotic Movement for the Central African Republic (MPC), the Central African Republic (UPC) and Revolution Justice (RJ) each obtain a portfolio. Two anti-balaka ministers make their entry. They take away some strategic positions such as Disarmament Demobilization, Reintegration and Repatriation, Livestock and Water and Forests.

Other personalities are also entering. Including some close to former President Djotodia and Bozizé. Some opposition parties also won a portfolio.
