Raised in a dysfunctional family: what is known about the beating of a fifth-grader in a seaside school

The management of the Investigative Committee for the Primorsky Territory opened a criminal case on the fact of beating a 12-year-old pupil in a school in the village of Bolshoy Kamen. This is the site of the agency.

“On this fact, the investigative department for the city of Bolshoy Kamen prosecuted a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Art. 116 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (causing beatings or other violent actions that caused physical pain from hooliganism), ”the message says.

As noted in the press service of the IC in the Primorsky Territory, the victim is currently sent for a forensic medical examination, which should establish the severity of injuries.

“During the preliminary investigation, an assessment will be made of the actions of the employees of the educational institution. Parents' involvement in the incident will also be checked. The circle of persons is now being established, ”told RT in the press service of the department.

According to media reports, the incident occurred on the morning of February 20 at school No. 2.

“On Wednesday morning, in one of the schools of the city of Bolshoy Kamen in Primorye, the parents of several students forced the fifth-grader into the toilet and beat him. So they “taught” the local hooligan for systematically mocking their children, ”an informed source told Interfax.

According to local journalists, a fifth-grader was humiliated by the father of one of his classmates.

“The father of one of the children took Oleg R. by the scruff of the neck and dragged him into the school toilet. There, the child dipped his head into the toilet. In the process, the schoolboy's nose began to bleed, which flooded the floor. This was the cause of various rumors: the child allegedly broke his jaw or even his ribs. It is worth noting that earlier the parents of other students have repeatedly asked the school principal to protect their children from a juvenile bully who does not give anyone a pass.

On Tuesday evening, they wrote a second complaint in which they described in detail the grievances inflicted by the dysfunctional child. According to this statement, the boy extorted money from his classmates, insulted them, beat them and in every way humiliated their dignity.

However, RT interlocutors in law enforcement agencies said that according to art. 116 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Striking or other violent actions that caused physical pain out of hooliganism" parents who participated in the beating of a fifth-grader may face up to 2 years in prison.

Patience limit

According to media reports, the student is brought up in a dysfunctional family. In particular, the boy’s mother is deprived of parental rights and is being murdered, and the student’s father died in a drunken brawl. The grandmother does not cope with the boy’s upbringing, the child is actually left to himself: until the evening he is at school, and then he wanders the streets with the older guys and lifts up the weak.

The last straw that overcame the parents' patience was the recent attack on an 11-year-old girl who, after being beaten, was taken to hospital with suspected spleen rupture.

As the mother of the victim told, she wrote a statement to the police about the fact of the injury of her daughter.

In the inter-municipal department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia “Bolshekamensky” RT confirmed the fact of mother’s appeal, refusing to clarify the details. The school principal where the incident occurred also declined to comment.

In turn, the RT Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Primorsky Territory confirmed to RT that the boy was brought up in a dysfunctional family. However, according to police, the victim was the instigator of the conflict.

“A 12-year-old boy is registered for previously committed misdemeanors, but in the case of the attack on a classmate, we found out that he was not the instigator of the conflict. The girl started a fight. And about the incident with the participation of parents, we are conducting an inspection ... The child is under the care of the grandmother as the legal representative, ”the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Primorsky Territory reported.

The prosecutor's office began to check how preventive work was arranged with students in the school itself. "The supervisory authority will check directly the activities of the educational institution in terms of organizing preventive work with students," said the assistant prosecutor of the region Elena Telegina, noting that the inter-district prosecutor is already busy clarifying all the circumstances of the incident.

Also, the causes of the conflict are trying to clarify the Department of Science and Education of the Primorsky Territory Administration.

Earlier in Primorye, a case was filed about the administrative violation of a school principal in the village of Pervomayskoye, Mikhailovsky District. According to media reports, the head of the educational institution invited the local criminal authorities to the school to give the students a lecture on sex education.

According to the official representative of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation, Alexander Kurenno, in January in the village of Pervomayskoye three local residents interviewed pupils of 5-8 classes. "Lecturers" had no relation either to the system of crime prevention or to the educational process as a whole. At the same time, they were obscenely expressed in minors. In respect of the director, an administrative protocol was drawn up on the violation of Article 20.1, part 1 of the Administrative Code (“Petty hooliganism”).
