The National Meteorological Center (NMC) predicts that the weather will continue to deteriorate in various parts of the country at intervals, especially on the islands and some coastal areas. The weather will witness gradual and relative improvement from tomorrow.

Across the country yesterday, for the second day in a row, heavy rains and active winds were dusty on open areas, reaching speeds of 40 km per hour on the sea, which was disturbed by the wave west in the Arabian Gulf.

In a statement to «Emirates Today», the Center attributed the instability to a shallow surface of the Red Sea leading to clouds (sometimes thunderous rain) in central Saudi Arabia, pointing out that these clouds move in the direction of the state in the form of successive waves, Cumulonimbus, which leads to rain and active dusty winds that affect horizontal visibility, also lead to sea disturbance.

The Center reported that the most affected areas of the country's unstable air are the coasts and northern regions and the northern interior of the state, urging motorists on highways and open to take care, because of the low visibility of horizontal wind and active rain, warning at the same time of the sea because of Wave disturbance and high winds.

The region is affected by a comprehensive air pressure system resulting from a low head in the upper atmosphere of the Mediterranean Sea and northern Saudi Arabia, and another in the Red Sea known as the "Sudan Low" .

He said: "The pressure resulting from the lowers lead to the creation of thunder clouds in the west of Saudi Arabia, and extends these clouds north towards Kuwait and Jordan, while the impact is limited in the State because it is on the edge of this pressure.

The center said that today's weather will be partly cloudy in general, with cloud clouds still being thunderous, while relative humidity increases during the night and early morning on some coastal and inland areas, with the chance to form fog or light fog. At speeds ranging from 15 km per hour to 28 km per hour, up to 38 km per hour especially on the Mediterranean Sea, it may sometimes be disturbed in the Arabian Gulf, while the average remains in the Sea of Oman.

As for the weather tomorrow, the center expected to be generally warm to partly cloudy during the day, with slight rise in temperature, while the relative humidity increases during the night and early morning on some coastal and interior areas, pointing out that the wind will be south-east to northeastern , At speeds ranging from 15 kilometers per hour to 25 kilometers per hour, up to 35 kilometers per hour sometimes on the sea that is moderate to moderate in the Arabian Gulf, and in the Sea of Oman.

The winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly, ranging from 15 km / h to 25 km / h , Up to 35 km / h sometimes on the sea, which remains light to moderate in the Arabian Gulf, and in the Sea of Oman.
