According to RIA Novosti, the head of state will deliver a speech at the State Kremlin Palace at an event dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Local Council of the Russian Orthodox Church and the Patriarchal enthronement.
It is noted that Putin "will meet with the heads and delegations of the local Orthodox churches from different countries who have arrived in Moscow to participate in the festivities."
Earlier, Putin commented on the creation of a new church in Ukraine. He called it a political project aimed at separating the Russian and Ukrainian peoples.
