Poroshenko announced the beginning of the assembly of the first Ukrainian experimental building BTR-4

"The first experimental building of an armored personnel carrier BTR-4 is already being assembled at the Plant. V.A. Malyshev in Kharkov, "he wrote.

According to him, assembly and welding of the lower part of the BTR housing is being carried out. He also noted that the plant's specialists "must unite more than 1,700 parts, of which more than 400 armored."

Poroshenko added that with the successful passing of the test tests, the plant will be given a production permit, after which it will be able to proceed with the serial production of BTRs.

Also, the Ukrainian leader said that the plant is already preparing to weld the experimental building of BTR-3.

Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak announced the showing of new models of weapons and equipment in the country.
