The bereaved are invited to meet, Saturday, October 20, in Pontivy, for a rally in tribute to missing loved ones. A gospel choir, artists with works evoking mourning and comedian Jean-Yves Lafesse, as a pontivyenne personality, will be present.

Colorful balloons will rise in the sky of Pontivy, Saturday, October 20, to pay tribute to missing loved ones. For the third year, the association Exchange and Sharing Grief - Mourning Youth, based in Elven, near Vannes, organizes a rally to "federate around those who have left us" .

"Break the isolation"

Created at the initiative of Pontivyenne families, this gathering "is open to all types of mourning, regardless of the age of the bereaved person" invites Nadine Frenkel, president of the association. "It is to pay tribute to those who have left us, sometimes too soon or too fast, whether they are parents, spouses or friends, to break the isolation and help each other" .

Gospel and let go of balloons

A celebration in music, since the Gospel In Paradise choir will sing "love, joy, hope and sorrow too" . It will accompany the highlight of the event: A release of balloons on which everyone can write a word "for the loved one who has gone . " Last year, more than 200 messages were raised in the sky "where everyone wants, our association is non-sectarian," says the president.

Sponsored as last year by writer Daniel Picouly, who will not be present, the event will be visited by comedian Jean-Yves Lafesse, born in Pontivy. Workshops for children, to write "words or drawings to say it" , will also be offered.
