Pompeo reported Turkey’s expulsion from the F-35 program when deploying the C-400

According to TASS, Pompeo replied in the affirmative to the corresponding question of the senator during the hearings in one of the subcommittees of the Senate Appropriations Committee.

Earlier, a group of US senators in an article for The New York Times stated that if Turkey acquired Russian S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems, then sanctions would be imposed against it.

In early April, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said that the issue of acquiring S-400 systems from Russia is closed.
