He also added that there are only 30 days left until the moment when the United States can stop the fulfillment of its obligations under the contract.

In early December, Pompeo said that the United States would stop fulfilling its obligations under the treaty if "Russia does not return to its execution within 60 days."

Later, Russian leader Vladimir Putin pointed out the absence of evidence of a “violation” of the INF.
