Pompeo and Hungarian Prime Minister discussed “countering Russian aggression”

"They discussed bilateral relations, including the continuing efforts of the United States to improve relations with Hungary in the field of security, countering Russian aggression and strengthening NATO," the State Department said.

The US Foreign Office added that the parties also discussed regional stability and energy diversification.

Earlier, Pompeo said that the United States intends to dissuade Hungary from participating in the "Turkish Stream".
